Rosen Ignatov – Sculptor

ROSEN IGNATOV received a drawing training in the Bulgarian city of Dupniza.
This is followed by a bachelor’s degree in elementary education at St. Kliment Ohridski University and a little later a master’s degree with a focus on “classical sculpture” at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Works with different materials, clay, plaster, metal, stone.
Part of his creative efforts is to reconcile them as a statement, its characteristic features being the volumes and details.
Lately, he has been focusing on summarizing shapes and materials.
His works are owned by lovers and collectors.

He has participated in solo and community exhibitions

– INTERNATIONAL COLLECTIVE
– EXHIBITION VENICE 2023″.
– Meglena Bojanova and Rosen Ignatov have two joint exhibitions in 2023.
– Together with Meglena Bojanova
are planning a joint project for 2024, thematically linked in the idea “ORIGINAL SIN” – IN PAINTING and ABSTRACT PLASTIC.
