FANCHER BRINKMANN – Images in Oil
The American painter Fancher presents abstract works, with colors being their central concern. Form as a structural feature takes a back seat. The use of oil paints allows Fancher to blend the finest nuances and achieve delicate color effects. Thin glazes make her paintings fascinating color bodies that glow from within. Her pictures are intense and sometimes overwhelming. Fancher studied art at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, as well as architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and at the Technical University of Munich. She lives and works as a freelance painter and architect in the south of Munich.
