Svetlana Verisova-Brezashka – Artist
Svetlana Verisova – Brezashka, was born in 1974. With a specialization in pedagogy, she has dedicated more than two decades to her artistic work in painting. During this time, she worked as an art teacher, specializing in the creation of landscapes, still lifes, and scenes. In her creative practice, she exclusively uses high-quality materials.
Her works have been presented at several group exhibitions in Russia and around the world. On April 21, 2023, a solo exhibition titled “Breakfast with the Scent of Hay” took place at the Artists’ House in Pleven.
From June 1 to 6, 2023, Svetlana Verisova – Brezashka participated in the Biennale in Belgrade, Serbia, organized by the Belgrade Cultural Association. One of her paintings was awarded the prestigious “Best Painting in the Gallery” prize.
From September 16 to 24, 2023, she showcased her works at an international exhibition in Venice, organized by CENTRO D’ARTE E CULTURA VERUM. On November 20, 2023, she participated in the International Art Festival in Doha, Qatar, and on November 29, she was part of the Art of Food Atrangi Festival in Dubai.
