Dr. Dimitar Minkov (1970) is an established Bulgarian artist and a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists since 2007. His unique collages, made entirely from natural materials found along the shores of the Black Sea, inspire and provoke thought. Minkov combines traditional artistic techniques with an innovative approach, creating works that tell stories about the connection between humans and nature.<\/p>\n
His impressive works have been showcased in numerous international exhibitions and biennials, including in Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, and the USA. Among his notable solo exhibitions are: \u201cMan and Angels\u201d<\/em> (2010, Sofia), \u201cScrap Chic\u201d<\/em> (2016, Sofia), and \u201cThe Circle\u201d<\/em> (2024, Lovech). He has also participated in international symposia such as \u201cArt on Tiles\u201d<\/em> (Montana, Bulgaria) and \u201cSharivari\u201d<\/em> (Munich, Germany).<\/p>\n His works convey a message of sustainability and the preservation of natural beauty, with his collages being both aesthetically captivating and symbolically charged.
